Karavali Wikimedians library was inaugurated on the occasion of the first anniversary of Tulu Wikipedia at Managaluru on 02 September of 2017. Prof K Chinnappa Gowda, Folklore University, Haveri, former vice chancellor, inaugurated the Wikipedia Library. Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy chairperson A C Bhandary symbolically handed over the reference books to Asaf Bartov, Wikimedia Foundation Emerging Wikimedia Communities senior programme officer. The Wiki library is at Ramakrishna PU college. Right now there are 500+ books, paper cuttings and other reference materials. Also we are collecting books while Karavali Wikipedians are going for unique initiation, Wikipedians to Home of eminent personalities of this region.

Karavali Wikipedians/National Librarians’ Day on August 12, 2018 Karnataka Tulu Sahitya academy, Ramakrishna Educational Institutions, and Karavali Wikipedians - Wiki Library celebrates national librarian day and is conducting a seminar on the topic of Effective use of e-resources for academic and research purposes’ on behalf of it.
